The Brown amp; Sharpe TESA Etalon Intalometer 531 vernier inside micrometer has three-point contacts for measurement of the inside dimension (ID) of through holes, blind bores, or short centering shoulders, and a vernier scale in inch units for taking precise ID measurements. A knurled friction thimble helps provide quick adjustment capability.

The micrometer is made of high-grade tool steel for durability, and has a satin chrome rust- and glare-resistant finish. The vernier scale is graduated to 0.0001”. The measuring contacts are made of hardened steel and separated by 120 degrees. The micrometer comes with a fitted case for storage.
